Short Stay Parking sits about 0.3 miles from the Main terminal at Fort Wayne International, so you’re looking at roughly a 5-minute walk to check-in. This is the close-in option in FWA’s parking lineup, meant for brief trips and quick pickups where distance matters more than shaving a few dollars off the bill.

The airport labels this lot as short stay, but FWA doesn’t publish an exact daily rate for it alongside the long-term and economy prices on its parking page. It’s still part of the on-airport system at 3801 W. Ferguson Road, so you pay on exit at the standard plaza with the same payment methods accepted in the other lots.

There’s no shuttle involved here: you park, walk the 0.3 miles, and you’re at the single Main terminal entrance in about 5 minutes. That makes it useful for meeting an arriving Allegiant or American flight when you don’t want to sit in the cell phone lot or do laps in front of the terminal curb.

Short Stay Parking works best for same-day business runs, one- or two-night trips, or dropping someone off for an early-morning flight from the Main terminal. Without a posted rate, treat it as a premium option compared with the long-term and economy lots listed on FWA’s official parking page.

Practical tip: If you’re only running inside to help with bags or meet someone off a flight, time your arrival to the scheduled landing and use Short Stay Parking instead of circling the terminal road for 15–20 minutes.
