Long Stay Parking

Long stay

Multi-day trips at FWA usually land in Long Stay Parking

This long stay lot sits about 0.5 miles from the Main terminal, so you’re looking at roughly a 10-minute walk at a normal pace. It’s airport-operated, not a private off-site lot, which keeps it cheaper than valet or premium options while still keeping you on airport property.

Long Stay Parking is set up for longer trips where the car sits for several days at a time, not quick day runs. FWA groups this with its on-site parking products, so you still use the same airport road loop and follow signs as you come in off Ferguson Road to reach the long stay area.

All FWA parking, including Long Stay, runs ticketless with license plate reader tech on both the entrances and exits. You don’t pull a paper ticket at the gate, and you don’t need to keep track of a stub on the way back from a 5-day or 7-day trip. The system logs your plate on entry and calculates your stay when you drive out.

Regulars lean into that license plate reader setup and just roll straight through the gates, letting the cameras handle the check-in and check-out instead of stopping for anything. That applies across all airport lots, so once your routine is set in Long Stay, you can use the same flow if you ever shift to short-term or another FWA lot.

Tip: snap a quick photo of your row and any nearby sign before that 10-minute walk to the Main terminal so you’re not hunting for your car after a late return flight.
