Covered spots sit right by T1 at Premium Parking

Premium Parking is the covered car park directly beside Terminal T1 at Pinto Martins International Airport (FOR), so you walk only a few minutes from car to check-in. It works well if you want your car out of the Fortaleza sun and rain instead of leaving it in the open-air lots farther from the terminal. Access is via the main airport access road that feeds into the T1 departures area.

This is a standard covered facility, not a valet or loyalty-based tier like you see at bigger hubs, even though the name says “Premium.” You park and keep your keys, then roll your bags to T1. Pay stations typically accept cash and cards in Brazilian reais (BRL), with pricing set by hourly and daily bands; expect it to cost more per day than the uncovered lots on the same airport road.

Signage for Premium Parking appears on approach around the last 200–300 meters before the T1 drop-off ramp, so stay in the correct lane early or you end up circling back. Height restrictions apply for taller vehicles, as with most covered structures, so double-check if you drive an SUV with roof racks or a pickup with accessories. Entry and exit barriers run 24/7 to match the airport’s overnight flight schedule.

There are no widely reported traveler tips, but based on layout, upper levels usually have more open spaces than the ground level closest to the pedestrian exit to T1. If your flight leaves in the early hours, park near marked stairwells or elevators for a shorter, better-lit walk to the terminal doors. One practical move: snap a photo of your level and row number before you head to check-in so you are not wandering the structure after a late return into Fortaleza.
