Vienna Coffee House

Gate-side caffeine fix in T2 before EVN departures

Vienna Coffee House sits airside in Terminal T2 at Zvartnots International, a few minutes’ walk from most international departure gates. It runs in sync with the main flight banks, typically opening early in the morning and staying open until the late-evening departures thin out, so you can grab a drink on both the 05:00 and 23:00 waves.

As the name hints, the focus is coffee: expect espresso-based drinks, basic drip coffee, and usually a couple of sweeter options at prices a bit higher than central Yerevan cafés, in line with airport markups. A cappuccino or latte typically costs less than a quick taxi ride into town, so it still beats gambling on airplane coffee for a long sector out of EVN.

Food is simple café fare: pastries, small cakes, and cold sandwiches that work as a backup meal if you skipped the hotel breakfast. Portions run on the light side, so think snack rather than full dinner, and budget for 2–3 items per person if you’re trying to replace a meal. It’s all self-service, with orders usually ready in under 5 minutes unless a full A321 has just emptied into T2.

Seating is standard two-top tables facing the concourse, with enough room to park a 55 cm carry-on by your chair. Power outlets are limited, so charge up in the main T2 seating zones near the larger pillars if you need a full battery before a 3–4 hour flight. Noise levels track the departure board: calm during midday lulls, busy when several flights cluster within 60 minutes.

Fast tip: order, then grab a table closer to your exact gate in T2 so you can watch boarding lines form while you finish your cup.
