Airport Cafe Lounge

Beer and hot snacks are the draw at Airport Cafe Lounge

Airport Cafe Lounge sits airside in T2 at Zvartnots International Airport (EVN), just past security and passport control. It functions as a basic sit-down cafe and bar for passengers who want more than vending machines while they wait for flights. Expect standard Armenian airport pricing rather than city-center deals, but it’s still fine for a quick meal with a drink before boarding.

You’ll see the usual coffee, tea, soft drinks, bottled water, draft or bottled beer, and a short list of hot snacks and sandwiches. Think simple bar food you can eat in 15–20 minutes, not a drawn-out three-course dinner. Portions lean modest, so if you’re truly hungry before a late-night departure, plan on ordering at least two items or topping up on the plane.

The cafe keeps hours that track with flight banks, so it typically opens several hours before early-morning departures and stays open through the late evening wave. If you have a 03:00–05:00 departure from T2, you usually still find coffee and something warm to eat here, which beats trying to survive on whatever you grabbed at a Yerevan supermarket earlier in the night.

Service pace lines up with the airport’s small size. EVN rarely runs at the intensity of a big European hub, so food usually reaches the table in around 10–20 minutes, even when multiple flights to Russia or Europe depart close together. That said, this is still airport staffing: don’t cut it close if your boarding time is in under 30 minutes and you’re ordering anything cooked.

Practical tip: clear security first, then head to Airport Cafe Lounge in T2 and sit facing the screens so you can watch for last-minute gate changes while you finish your drink.
