Pizza Di Roma

Gate-side pizzas in T2

Two minutes’ walk from the main T2 duty free, Pizza Di Roma is the obvious Italian option once you’re past security at Zvartnots International Airport. It sits on the departures side, so you don’t need to leave the secure area to grab a slice before boarding.

Pizza Di Roma runs through typical flight banks, with most reports putting it open from early morning departures into late-night red-eyes. Expect standard fast-casual pricing for Armenia: individual slices land in the 1,800–2,500 AMD range, with whole pizzas noticeably cheaper per piece if you’re sharing before a group flight.

The menu sticks to airport-safe staples: margherita, pepperoni-style options, and a couple of veggie combos, plus soft drinks and bottled water. Portions lean large for a single slice, which works well if your T2 layover is under 45 minutes and you don’t want a sit-down restaurant delay.

Service is counter-style, pay first, then wait a few minutes while your slice hits the oven again. That reheat usually takes under 5–7 minutes, so you can order, scan your boarding pass, and still make it back to gates in the mid-teens without clock-watching. Seating is at simple café tables immediately next to the counter.

Card payment is widely accepted here, including Visa and Mastercard, and prices are clearly posted in AMD. If you’re clearing out leftover dram before departure, Pizza Di Roma is an easy way to spend the last 3,000–4,000 AMD without digging through souvenir shops.

Tip: lines spike about 30 minutes before large departures to Moscow and Europe, so if your flight boards at, say, 14:30, aim to order before 13:45 and carry your box to the gate.
