Pickup point sits just outside T1 arrivals at Eindhoven

App-based taxis at Eindhoven Airport use a single pickup point directly outside T1 arrivals, about a 1–2 minute walk from the baggage hall exit. There’s no separate rideshare lane like at bigger hubs, so you meet your driver in the general taxi area in front of the terminal. Everything is curbside, ground level, with no need for shuttles or extra transfers.

You can request rides through major apps that operate in the Netherlands, with typical wait times of 5–15 minutes during daytime hours (06:00–22:00). Fares into Eindhoven city center (about 8–9 km away) usually land in the €25–€40 range depending on traffic and demand. Late-night or early-morning flights after 23:00 can see longer wait times and higher surge pricing.

Rideshare pickup is fully landside, so you exit T1 baggage reclaim, pass through customs, and walk straight out the sliding doors to the taxi rank area. Drivers often park in the same short-stay zone the metered taxis use, so always check the app’s car model and license plate before getting in. If you’ve only got hand luggage, you can be at the curb in under 3 minutes from your gate on the smaller Schengen stands.

Step-by-step from the gate: 1) Follow “Baggage reclaim / Exit” signs to the ground floor of T1. 2) Collect bags from the assigned belt listed on the arrivals screens. 3) Walk through the customs doors and turn toward the main terminal exit. 4) Once outside, head to the signed taxi area about 30–50 meters ahead. 5) Open your app, drop the pin at “Eindhoven Airport” or the terminal street address, and confirm the car and plate when it arrives.

Prices on busy Friday and Sunday evenings, especially around 17:00–21:00, can spike sharply on some apps compared with the fixed rates advertised by street taxis. Short hops under 5 km may run cheaper with a regular cab from the line directly outside T1, while longer rides to cities like Tilburg or ’s-Hertogenbosch can favor app pricing when there’s no surge.

One practical tip: order your rideshare only after you exit T1 and can see the taxi area; if you call it while still at baggage reclaim, the driver can reach the curb in 2–3 minutes and start waiting charges before you’re outside.
