Next to several gates in DPS International, KFC keeps it familiar
This KFC sits airside in the International terminal at Denpasar, so you clear security and immigration first, then find it along the main departures concourse near multiple boarding gates. It’s one of the few global chains here, which makes it an easy call if you don’t feel like guessing on menus right before a long-haul flight.
Pricing runs higher than street-side Bali outlets: expect a basic chicken meal with drink to land in the IDR 70,000–110,000 range, and a snack item like fries or a single side closer to IDR 20,000–30,000. That’s airport mark-up, but still cheaper than many sit-down spots elsewhere in DPS International.
Menu sticks mostly to the KFC greatest hits: fried chicken pieces, burgers, and fries, plus some rice-based sets that are common in Indonesia. If you want something that actually fills you up before an 8–12 hour overnight flight, go for a two-piece chicken set with rice instead of just a burger and fries, which stays closer to a snack portion here.
Seating is limited, with only a small cluster of tables directly in front of the counter, and spillover often drifting into the general gate seating nearby. At busy bank times for flights to Australia, Singapore, and the Middle East, lines can hit 10–15 minutes just to order, so don’t cut it close to a boarding time printed as 20:10 or earlier.
Payment is straightforward: cards are accepted and most major Visa/Mastercard credit cards run fine here, but small purchases under IDR 50,000 sometimes get side-eye if you pay with large cash notes. If you’re trying to burn the last of your rupiah, this is a simple place to finish off IDR 30,000–80,000 before heading to your gate.
Tip: If your flight boards from a remote gate with bus transfer, aim to order at least 40 minutes before departure; DPS sometimes starts bus boarding a full 25 minutes before wheels-up.
