Five-minute walk from Terminal 3 check-in
The Multistory Car Park at Cairo International sits directly opposite Terminal 3, about a 5-minute covered walk from the departure hall. It’s a classic short-stay option, spread over several levels, and best suited to drop-offs, pick-ups, and same-day or overnight trips out of terminals 1, 2, or 3.
This is a short-stay facility, so pricing is structured by the hour rather than by the week. It works well if you’re at CAI for 2–24 hours: meeting arriving family, checking in early for a late-night long-haul, or parking for a quick domestic turn. For longer holidays of 3–7 days, on-airport open lots or off-airport operators around Heliopolis usually price out cheaper.
Access is simple: follow airport signs for Terminal 3 and then “Multistory Car Park.” The entry ramp sits on the same internal road system that serves the T3 departures forecourt, so you don’t need a shuttle or extra transfer. From the upper levels you get direct elevator access down to the ground floor, then a short, clearly signed walk into the T3 building.
Security is basic but present, with controlled entry/exit barriers and regular traffic from airport police around the T3 complex. Lighting stays on through the night, which helps if you’re arriving on a 02:00 international flight or catching a 04:30 departure. Height limits apply, so tall vans and minibuses may need to use surface parking near Terminal 1 instead.
Payment is usually taken at pay machines or a staffed booth at the exit, with charges calculated from your entry time. Have small notes or a working card ready to avoid delays at the barrier. One tip: snap a quick photo of your level and nearest pillar number the moment you park; the floors look similar, and that picture can save 10 minutes of searching after a long overnight flight.
