Parqueadero VIP T1

valet

Valet drop-off sits directly outside Terminal 1 departures

Parqueadero VIP T1 is the airport-run valet option serving Terminal 1 (T1) at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá. You hand over the keys at the curb by the T1 departures area, and staff park your car in the dedicated VIP lot instead of you hunting for a space. This is a good fit if you want to walk a few meters from your car to the check-in counters and head straight inside.

Service runs in sync with the main T1 flight schedule, so you can usually find staff on duty from early-morning departures to late-night arrivals. Since this is tied specifically to T1, it lines up best with Avianca and most international operations that use that terminal. If you’re flying out of T2, skip this spot and park closer to that terminal instead of shuttling back and forth.

Pricing is premium compared with standard airport parking, and you pay on-site in Colombian pesos once they bring your car back to the T1 curb. Rates are typically calculated by the hour with a capped daily maximum, so short trips of 24–48 hours make the most sense here. For longer stays of a week or more, do the math; off-site lots around BOG often undercut the airport’s VIP daily rate.

Because this is valet, factor in at least 10–15 minutes on return for them to retrieve your car and bring it up to the T1 departures lane. That extra buffer matters during peak banks of international flights when multiple drivers call for cars at the same time. You keep your claim ticket; don’t stash it in checked luggage, or you’ll slow yourself down at pickup.

Tip: Snap a photo of your mileage and any existing scratches before handing over the keys at T1; it speeds up any conversation if something looks different when you get back.
