Parqueadero Corto Plazo T1

short stay

500 meters from T1, this is BOG’s true short-stop lot

Parqueadero Corto Plazo T1 sits directly in front of Terminal 1, around a 3–5 minute walk from the check-in doors depending on your airline zone. It’s the airport’s official short-stay option, set up for quick drop-offs, same-day trips, or meeting arrivals without doing laps around the terminal roads.

This lot serves only T1, which handles most international and many domestic flights at El Dorado. You enter from the main terminal access road for T1, follow signs marked Corto Plazo, and pull a ticket at the barrier. Stalls are standard-size, uncovered, and laid out on multiple lanes facing the terminal façade, so you can usually see the building from your parking row.

Pricing here runs higher than the long-term areas, with rates calculated by the hour and then capped by the day; it’s meant for a few hours up to about 24 hours, not week-long trips. For any stay beyond a full day, the numbers start to favor Parqueadero Largo Plazo or off-airport lots, even after you factor in their shuttle or walk time.

The biggest win is time: you step out of your car and you’re roughly 200–300 meters from many T1 airline check-in counters, depending on which door you enter. Elevators and curb ramps sit close to several pay stations, which helps if you’re rolling heavy luggage or pushing a stroller.

Payment usually happens at automatic machines near pedestrian exits, taking Colombian pesos and major cards, before you drive to the exit gate. Keep the printed ticket dry; if you demagnetize or lose it, staff may charge based on the maximum daily rate while they look up your plate and entry time.

Tip: If you’re picking someone up, park in Corto Plazo T1, walk into the arrivals hall on Level 1, and track their flight on the central screens before heading to the curb; that saves circling the terminal road and risking police whistles at the pick-up lane.
