Parqueadero Oficial T1

covered garage

90 seconds from T1 check-in, under a roof

Parqueadero Oficial T1 sits directly in front of El Dorado’s Terminal T1, so you walk about 1–3 minutes from your car to the departure doors. It’s a multi-level covered garage, good if you want your car out of Bogotá sun and rain for a few days. Being the airport’s official option, payment machines and help desks match terminal hours and are easy to find on the ground level.

This is a fully covered structure, level-by-level, not an open lot, and connects to T1 via marked pedestrian paths and crosswalks. You roll your bags straight across to the T1 entrance used by Avianca and most international airlines. Elevators inside the garage help if you park on upper levels and have large checked luggage or kids in tow.

Rates are charged by the hour, with daily totals adding up quickly once you pass the 24-hour mark, so short trips of 1–3 days make the most sense here. Payment machines accept cash and cards, and you can pay at the exit barrier if the machines on level 1 are busy. Keep your paper ticket dry; if it’s unreadable, staff at the pay station need a few extra minutes to look up your plate.

Security cameras cover each level, and lighting stays on through the night, which helps if you return on a 23:30 or 01:00 arrival into T1. There is visible staff presence at the entrance and exit booths at all hours when flights operate. Still, don’t leave bags visible on seats; treat it like any big-city airport garage.

Tip: if you have a very early flight from T1 (around 05:00–06:00), aim to park on the lower two levels so you can be at check-in roughly 10 minutes after you pull the handbrake.
