Priority Pass here just feeds you into the standard Prima Vista lounge

In Bologna T1, the “Priority Pass Lounge” is the same Prima Vista / Marconi Business Lounge everyone uses, open daily 05:00–21:00. Priority Pass, DragonPass, airline business‑class invites, and paid entry all land in this single room, so the only difference is whether you pay the €40 day pass or someone else picks up the tab.

The lounge sits landside in the terminal, before security, so you still have BLQ’s screening queue between you and your gate. Figure you need to leave the lounge at least 35–40 minutes before boarding to clear security and walk to departures airside. Regulars basically treat it as a nicer pre‑check‑in waiting room, not a place to sit until “go to gate” pops on the screen.

Inside, you get basic seating, self‑serve snacks, and drinks that match the “nothing special” TripAdvisor description. Think packaged cookies, crisps, a few pastries, and bottled soft drinks rather than a hot buffet. Coffee is the main draw; the espresso machine and Wi‑Fi are the two things most Priority Pass users actually mention using.

Alcohol is available, but don’t expect a bar program: reviews talk about a couple of wines and simple spirits on a side counter, not labels you’d pay extra for. Given that walk‑up access runs about €40, many Priority Pass guests say they would skip paying cash and just buy a sandwich and drink in the public area instead.

Capacity is limited, and access can be capped at busy times, especially early morning flights around 06:00–08:00 and late afternoon banks. When the room fills, staff reportedly prioritize airline‑invited business‑class passengers over Priority Pass and day‑pass walk‑ups, so your membership card is not a guaranteed entry ticket here.

What regulars do: grab a quick coffee, log on to the Wi‑Fi to clear email, then use the dedicated fast‑track door linked to security to shave a few minutes off the queue. After that, they move to the gate area, since there is no lounge airside in BLQ and boarding often starts 30–40 minutes before departure.

Tip: if you’re thinking about paying the €40 day pass, only do it if you plan to stay at least an hour and actually use the fast track; otherwise, a cafe in T1 plus standard security will feel like better value.
