Pizza Bar

T2

Gate-side pizza option in T2 when you’re short on time

Pizza Bar sits airside in Terminal T2 at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, an easy stop if your flight departs from the Schengen-style gates in that pier. It’s a straightforward counter-service spot: order at the till, grab a seat, and keep an eye on the monitors. Being inside T2 means you clear security first, then eat here without worrying about passport control queues afterward.

The menu leans heavily on slices and whole pizzas, with prices typically lower than many Western European hubs for similar airport food. Expect standard toppings more than experimental ingredients. Portions run on the generous side for a fast airport meal, so one slice usually does the job if you fly soon and don’t want to feel stuffed in row 28.

Pizza comes out of a display case, so turnover speed matters more than the recipe. Aim for pies that just came out of the oven, not the ones that have sat under heat lamps for half an hour. If you can, watch for trays being swapped around and order from the newest batch; it makes a noticeable difference in crust texture and cheese pull.

Service is quick by design, which helps on 45-minute connections through T2, but it also means customization is limited. Expect to pick from what’s already prepared instead of building your own topping combo. Drinks are standard soft drinks, bottled water, and basic beer options, sold at airport-inflated prices but still reasonable compared with major hubs like FRA or CDG.

Tip: if your gate is at the far end of T2, order, eat half your slice at the counter, then walk the rest to the gate; you’ll save at least 5–10 minutes of backtracking if there’s a sudden gate change on the screens.
