Aviator Bar

T2

By gate-side in T2, Aviator Bar keeps things simple

Aviator Bar sits in Terminal T2 airside at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, a short walk from most Schengen and non-Schengen gates. It’s a basic bar setup with counter seating and a few small tables, geared to people killing 20–40 minutes before boarding. Don’t expect a full restaurant; think quick drink and a snack while you watch the departure boards.

The menu leans on Serbian standards: you’ll usually see draught beer from local breweries, bottled international labels, and classic long drinks, plus espresso-based coffee that runs cheaper than many Western European airports. A beer or glass of house wine often lands in the €4–6 range, with spirits and mixed drinks a bit higher. Food is limited to bar bites and pre-made snacks rather than hot plates.

Hours roughly track flight banks in T2, opening in the early morning when the first departures push out and staying open into the late evening when the last regional flights leave after 22:00. If you’re on a very late-night or extremely early flight around 04:00, don’t bank on it being open; grab water or snacks from a nearby shop in T2 as backup.

Seats at Aviator Bar go quickly during peaks around the 06:00–09:00 and 17:00–20:00 departure waves, especially when multiple A320 or 737 flights board at nearby gates. Standing at the bar is normal, and service is usually faster if you order directly at the counter and pay on the spot. Tipping 5–10% in Serbian dinars or rounding up the bill is common but not required.

Tip: if your gate in T2 is already posted, pick a seat at Aviator Bar with a direct view of the nearest departure screens so you don’t miss a sudden gate change or an early boarding call.
