Outside T1 before security, Parking is your quick stop
Parking sits landside in Terminal T1, before any security checks, so this is the spot to sort out your car or pickup logistics before heading to check-in. It’s tagged as a service and convenience point, not a food outlet, and sits in the mid-range $$ price tier compared to other on-airport services at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD).
Because Parking is outside security in T1, it mainly serves departing passengers getting dropped off, plus friends and family waiting on arrivals from domestic carriers using this terminal. If you’re connecting from T2 international to a T1 domestic flight, you’re landside anyway, so this is one of the few spots you can use without an AMD boarding pass in hand.
Figure on standard airport pricing in the $$ band for anything paid here, from short-stay vehicle time to longer waits while you walk passengers into the T1 departure hall. It’s not a lounge, not a restaurant, and there’s no table service; think of it as infrastructure support at T1 with a pricing level above what you’d pay downtown in Ahmedabad.
The current public rating is listed as -1, which basically means there’s not enough usable review data yet rather than a true negative score. No consistent complaints show up in flyers’ notes, and there’s no strong “regulars’ routine” either, so you’re working with a blank slate: arrive, park, handle your drop-off or pickup, then move on to check-in or exit.
Tip: Build at least a 15–20 minute buffer into your AMD plans to deal with T1 Parking, especially at evening peak departure banks, before you queue for security or meet an arriving passenger curbside.
