Chase Sapphire Lounge

Aracaju T1 travelers won’t find a Chase Sapphire Lounge

Chase Sapphire Lounges by The Club exist today in a short list of larger markets like Boston (BOS) and Hong Kong (HKG), but Aracaju – Santa Maria Airport (AJU) Terminal 1 is not on that list. If you’re arriving with a Chase Sapphire Reserve card in hand and expecting the same branded lounge you’ve used elsewhere, AJU T1 currently has none.

Terminal 1 at AJU is the only terminal in the airport, and all flights operate from T1’s single concourse, but Chase has not announced any Sapphire Lounge build for this terminal as of 2026. Lounge maps from Chase and partners only show Sapphire locations in bigger hubs, so planning on that access in Aracaju is a mismatch with reality.

Access rules for Chase Sapphire Lounges generally require a Chase Sapphire Reserve card plus a Priority Pass membership linked to that card, but that policy doesn’t help at AJU because there is no Sapphire-branded space behind security in T1. Even frequent flier forums that track every new lounge opening list zero Chase Sapphire Lounge entries for Aracaju.

Pricing info you might know from other airports—like complimentary entry for the cardholder and two guests with a Reserve card—also does not apply here, since there is no lounge in T1 charging walk-up or pay-per-use Sapphire rates. Any Priority Pass options you see in your app for Brazil will direct you to other airports such as GRU or GIG, not AJU.

For now, the practical move in AJU Terminal 1 is to build your own “lounge” plan around gate areas and cafés in the main hall. Factor in about 10–15 minutes to clear security in T1 at typical midday banks, then grab a seat near your assigned gate, since no Chase Sapphire Lounge exists to give you a quieter room or separate Wi‑Fi network.

Tip: if lounge access matters for this trip, route through a Brazilian hub like São Paulo–Guarulhos (GRU) or Rio–Galeão (GIG), where your Sapphire-linked Priority Pass has a shot at getting you into a partner lounge, then connect onward to Aracaju on a separate domestic segment.
