Leon's Bodega

Gate E concourse snack stop with faster turnover than the cafés

Leon's Bodega sits in Terminal E after security, handy if your long-haul leaves from an E-gate and you don’t want a full restaurant meal. It runs standard daytime hours aligned with intercontinental banks, roughly early morning into late evening, so you can grab something ahead of the 06:00–09:00 departures as well as late-night North America flights.

This is a food-and-drink counter, not sit-down dining, so think sandwiches, pastries, and packaged snacks you can take to gate E46 or E52. Prices sit in typical Zurich Airport territory: expect around CHF 6–8 for a sandwich and CHF 4–6 for coffee or soft drinks. It’s quicker than the larger cafés in E, especially within 30–40 minutes of boarding.

Leon's Bodega stocks basics for a mid-flight kit: bottles of water under 1 liter for carry-on, small sweets for around CHF 3, and a few hot options you can carry to your seat. If you’re connecting from A or B/D, the Skymetro to E takes about 3 minutes, so you can still swing by here without adding much walking time before an E-gate departure.

Tip: lines spike 20–30 minutes before widebody departures at adjacent E-gates, so hit Leon’s Bodega right after you clear passport control and ride the Skymetro to E, then head to your gate with food already in hand.
