P4 sits in the long-stay zone at Xi'an Xianyang

P4 Parking Lot is the long-stay option on the airport grounds at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport (XIY), serving terminals T2, T3, and T5. It sits farther from the terminal buildings than the short-term areas, so plan on extra time for walking or using the airport’s internal transport links. P4 is built for trips that run to several days or longer, not quick drop-offs.

Rates at P4 typically undercut the closer car parks by a clear margin for stays beyond 24 hours, so it starts to make sense once you hit the second or third day of parking. If you’re away for a week out of T3, P4 usually lands noticeably cheaper than the front-of-terminal surface lots. Payment on return is standard: you pull a ticket at entry and pay at machines or booths before exit.

P4 serves all three passenger terminals (T2, T3, T5), so you don’t need a terminal-specific lot, but walking time can easily stretch beyond 10–15 minutes depending on your exact row. Build a buffer of at least 30 minutes into your airport arrival to cover parking, finding a space, and getting over to the correct check-in island. Late-night departures out of T3 and early-morning returns can feel slower because staff and shuttles run on leaner schedules.

Lighting and security in P4 follow the airport standard, with fixed entry and exit gates and patrols tied into Xi’an Xianyang’s overall CCTV network. You still park at your own risk, so don’t leave visible valuables inside the car. In summer, exposed rows in P4 get direct sun for most of the day, so use a windshield shade if you’re leaving the car for 5–7 days or longer.

Tip: Snap a photo of your row number and the nearest terminal sign when you park in P4; it saves 5–10 minutes of wandering when you land back at XIY tired after a late flight.
