P1 Parking Lot sits directly opposite Terminal T3 at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport, set up as the airport’s short-stay option for drop-offs, pick-ups, and brief visits. You’re typically looking at a walk of roughly 5–10 minutes from most P1 spaces to the T3 departures doors, depending on row and baggage. It’s the obvious choice if you’re meeting an arriving passenger in T3 or parking for a same‑day round trip.

This is a short-stay car park, so pricing favors hours over days. Expect charges to accrue in hourly blocks rather than daily caps, with the first 30–60 minutes often set at a lower rate than later hours. That structure works for quick terminal runs, but it adds up if you push past 6–8 hours. For anything approaching an overnight stay, check P2 or other long-term areas instead of leaving your car in P1.

P1 mainly serves Terminal T3, which handles a large share of XIY’s international and major domestic flights, while T2 and T5 sit farther away on the airfield. If you’re flying from T2 or T5 and still want to use P1, build in extra transfer time for the inter-terminal shuttle or a short taxi ride. Walking between P1/T3 and the other terminals is not realistic with luggage, especially in bad weather or late at night.

P1 is uncovered surface parking, so your car sits in the open, with no direct weather protection like a multi-level garage roof. Lines of sight are clear, and main aisles are wide enough for easy maneuvering, which helps during busy morning and evening bank times, roughly 06:00–09:00 and 18:00–21:00. Pay stations are typically near pedestrian exits heading toward T3, so you pay before walking back to your car.

Tip: aim for rows closest to the pedestrian crossing that lines up with T3’s main entrance; it cuts your walk by a few minutes if you’re hauling two or more checked-size bags.
