Souvenir Shop

Next to check-in in MAIN, Souvenir Shop keeps it simple

Right in the MAIN terminal public area near the check-in banks, Souvenir Shop is the basic grab-it-now stop for last‑minute gifts before security. It’s a small storefront, usually open in sync with the main flight banks through the day and into late evening, so you can duck in on the way to departures without backtracking.

You’ll see the usual Bolivia staples here: flag and llama keychains from around 15–20 BOB, small magnets at similar prices, plus slightly pricier textiles and hats that can push past 80–100 BOB. Stock leans touristy over artisan, so think quick gifts rather than gallery pieces. Card payments are generally accepted, but having some bolivianos helps if the terminal reader glitches.

The shop sits landside in MAIN, so once you clear security toward the international gates you’re mostly stuck with duty free and snack kiosks. If you want a T‑shirt with “Bolivia” across the front or a soft toy alpaca for kids back home, get it here instead of expecting better options airside. Selection is limited but usually enough to cover one or two small presents.

Practical move: stop here before lining up for security, set a hard 10‑minute timer, and cap your spend in cash so you don’t have to think about exchange rates at 2 a.m.
