Employee-only Staff Parking by Venice Marco Polo’s T1

Staff Parking at Venice Marco Polo Airport sits in the airport parking zone near Terminal T1 and is reserved for airport employees and on-site tenants only. It is not sold to the general public, even if you’re willing to pay the posted rate. If you’re flying out of VCE as a regular passenger, you’ll need to look at the public car parks instead of trying to access this one.

The posted daily rate is about €18 per day, but access is controlled by airport staff permits and tenant authorisations. You can’t just drive up, take a ticket, and park like you would at standard P1, P2, or long‑stay lots. Staff Parking is managed as part of the airport’s internal operations, tied to employment or concession contracts at Venice Marco Polo Airport T1.

Gates at Staff Parking use badges or pre-registered plates rather than standard paper tickets, again limiting use to VCE staff and tenants. If you’re dropping off or picking up an employee working at Terminal T1, you still can’t leave your car here unless you have the right permit tied to your number plate or access card. For passengers, that means planning around the public parking products instead of hoping to slip into this lot.

Staff Parking sits in the same general access road network that feeds the other T1 car parks at Venice Marco Polo, so it’s easy to confuse the entrances when you first arrive. Watch the signs carefully: if it says "Staff" or "Employees" and not P1, P2, or long‑stay, keep driving. One practical tip: lock in a public lot online before you leave home so you’re not circling the staff area at VCE trying to improvise parking on the day of your flight.
