Car Rental Parking

Dedicated rental lot

€18 per day here, but this lot is for rentals only

The Car Rental Parking at Venice Marco Polo Airport sits in its own dedicated area near Terminal T1 and is tied to the on-site rental agencies. The posted daily rate runs around €18, but these bays are meant for vehicles on active rental contracts, not for regular airport parking. If you’re thinking of leaving a private car here while you fly out of VCE, expect problems with both the rental firms and airport staff.

This is a dedicated rental lot, not a long‑stay or short‑stay option, and access usually comes after you sign paperwork at the desks in the terminal. You pick up and return the car in the same multi-level zone, which is marked clearly for each brand. The setup is practical if you’re dropping a vehicle right before a flight from T1, because you walk straight from the ramps to the departures area in roughly 5–10 minutes.

For pure airport parking, the official long‑term and short‑term car parks around Venice Marco Polo are the better fit, with spaces you can actually prebook by day instead of relying on a rental contract. Those official car parks sit in separate signed zones and are priced specifically for travellers driving their own cars, unlike this rental lot which is bundled into the daily hire cost at about €18.

If you only need to return a hire car, follow the “Car Rental / Autonoleggio” signs as you approach the airport from SR11 or from Mestre, then head to the rental parking structure before walking back to T1. Tip: allow at least 20 extra minutes on top of your usual check-in time to fuel up, find the right brand bay, and complete the return inspection in this lot.
