P1 Short Stay

Short‑term parking

1-minute walk from T1 check-in, priced for quick goodbyes

P1 Short Stay at Venice Marco Polo sits directly in front of T1, about a 1-minute walk to the departures doors. It’s a short‑term car park built around fast drop‑offs and pick‑ups, not day parking. Official rates run up to about €37 per day, which puts it at the very top of the airport’s €18–€37 price band for on‑site options.

This is one of the airport’s few spots where you get a brief free parking window, flagged on third‑party aggregators as part of the "Accompanying persons" setup. After those free minutes, the meter climbs quickly compared with Park Bus or off‑airport lots that often sit closer to €8 per day with shuttle. Think in terms of minutes, not hours, if you’re choosing P1.

Airport rules cap the free‑minutes perk at three entries per day per vehicle across all car parks. From the fourth entry onward, P1 visits add an extra €18 per entrance on top of the time‑based fee. If you’re doing multiple airport runs in a single day, that surcharge can blow past the cost of just leaving the car in a long‑stay lot once.

Regulars treat P1 and the similar Speedy Park as the only true “at the door” options at VCE. Both sit in the premium bracket, close enough that you can walk a slow mover into check‑in at T1, wait for bag‑drop to open, and be back at your car in under 10 minutes. For anything longer than a quick escort, guides push people towards Park Bus or off‑airport shuttles.

Tip: Use P1 Short Stay for a single fast drop‑off or pick‑up, then switch to Park Bus or an ~€8/day off‑airport lot if your stop might drift beyond an hour.
