Park Bus

Long‑stay shuttle parking

Two-hour errands near VCE T1 without paying full Short Stay rates

Park Bus sits a short 3-minute walk from Venice Marco Polo’s T1, acting like a drive-up zone for quick terminal access rather than a classic long-stay lot. It’s signed on-airport as shuttle parking, but distance and pricing put it in the same bracket as the official Short Stay options for anything under a couple of hours.

Tariffs line up closely with Short Stay: comparison sites peg the first two hours at around €10 in the Park Bus section, so using it for a full day at the posted €18 daily rate stops making sense fast. After the limited free-parking window that follows the airport’s general “free minutes” rules, the meter climbs quickly, nudging true long-term trips toward the farther Park A or Park B products instead.

Despite the “Bus” in the name, you’re effectively parking within easy walking distance of T1, often in the same timeframe as waiting for a shuttle. Most people treat it as backup when the main Short Stay drop-off area is jammed, since guides note that the initial tariffs match closely while Park Bus entrances can be less choked at peak departure banks.

Park Bus runs inside the official airport perimeter, so payment, entry tickets, and validation follow Venezia Airport rules rather than a third-party operator’s system. You pull a ticket at the barrier, watch the clock on those free minutes, and then pay at the on-site machines before exiting, just as you would in the main Short Stay car park beside T1.

Tip: If your terminal run is under two hours, head straight for Park Bus when the Short Stay access road backs up; set a timer on your phone for 90 minutes so the post-free-minute charges don’t surprise you at the pay station.
