Gate-side duty free at UVF without trekking back landside
Noah’s Arcade sits in the Main Terminal departure area at Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), just past security and before the main cluster of boarding gates. It’s a standard duty free setup, so you’ll see liquor, tobacco, perfume, and chocolates lined up right along the walking path to the jet bridges. Figure 5–10 minutes to browse without stressing a boarding call, even on busy afternoon bank departures to the US and UK.
Liquor is the main draw here: expect shelves of Caribbean rum at prices that usually beat resort shops by a few US dollars per bottle. You can pay in Eastern Caribbean dollars or USD, and most major credit cards run fine. Tobacco and cigarettes are stocked but not in huge depth, so if you want a specific brand, don’t wait until the last 15 minutes before your American or JetBlue flight boards at the nearby gates.
Fragrance and cosmetics take up one full side of Noah’s Arcade, with the usual duty free labels and frequent 2-for deals on 50 ml or 100 ml bottles. Boxed chocolates and gift tins are stacked near the entrance, easy to grab after you pass through security screening in the Main Terminal. Snacks suitable to open on a 4–5 hour flight are limited, so treat this more as a gift and liquor stop than a serious food option.
Plan your visit right after security, before you sit down near your assigned gate in the Main Terminal, so you’re not queuing here during final boarding calls.
