Bus

Tickets start at about €7.50 for the SADEM coach

The SADEM coach links Turin Airport T1 and Torino city center in about 45–50 minutes, running every 30–60 minutes depending on time of day. Buses stop right outside the arrivals area at T1, so you walk out, turn toward the bus bays, and you’re basically there in under 3 minutes.

You can usually buy tickets from the machine in the arrivals hall at T1 or directly from the driver, with a small surcharge if you pay onboard (about €1 extra compared to the machine price). Keep a few euros in coins or small notes; some passengers report card terminals occasionally refusing foreign cards, especially late at night after 22:00.

The coach runs from early morning to late evening, with first departures from the airport typically around 06:00 and last buses leaving close to 23:30, but always check the current timetable for your specific date. If your flight lands after 23:00, plan ahead, because missing that last bus often means a €30–€40 taxi into town instead.

In Turin, the SADEM line usually hits key stops like Porta Susa and Porta Nuova railway stations, which makes train connections straightforward. Ride time from the airport to Porta Susa is around 40 minutes, and to Porta Nuova about 45–50 minutes depending on traffic on the A55 and Corso Venezia.

Luggage goes in the underfloor compartment; the driver opens it at each stop, and there’s space for at least one large suitcase per person on most departures. Inside, you’ll find standard 2–2 seating and basic air-conditioning, but no onboard toilets and usually no USB ports, so don’t count on charging your phone during the 45-minute ride.

SADEM posts the timetable and a simple route map at the T1 stop, so take 30 seconds on arrival to snap a photo of the schedule. That picture on your phone is your backup if your data drops or the SADEM website is slow on airport Wi‑Fi when you head back to TRN.

Practical tip: For the airport–city leg, buy a round‑trip ticket at T1 if you already know your return date; round‑trip pricing is often a couple of euros cheaper than two one‑ways and saves you a last‑minute ticket scramble at Porta Nuova or Porta Susa.
