Parking Lot P3 is the multi-storey long‑term garage at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, serving both T1 and T2 via shuttle. It sits on the airport perimeter road, a short bus ride from the terminals, and works well if you’re leaving the car for several days. Payment machines accept cash and major cards in New Taiwan dollars, with clearly posted rates starting around NT$70 per hour and daily/long‑stay caps that beat the terminal-front garages for trips over two or three days.
P3 is open 24 hours and run directly by Taoyuan Airport, which keeps it predictable for overnight arrivals and early-morning departures around 05:00–07:00. Levels are covered, so the car stays out of the sun and rain, which matters in summer when TPE temperatures regularly push past 30°C. Signage in the garage is in Chinese and English, and floor markings point you toward the shuttle pickup points and pedestrian exits.
The shuttle bus from P3 to T1 and T2 usually runs every 10–15 minutes during daytime peaks and stretches closer to 20 minutes late at night. The ride itself is roughly 5–8 minutes to either terminal, but you still want to build in at least 30 minutes from parking the car to standing in front of your check-in counter. Buses stop at designated zones at each terminal, so check the overhead route boards before boarding.
Security cameras cover the main lanes and entrances on each P3 level, and attendants patrol periodically, though this is still open public parking rather than a private garage. Height limits apply at the entrance, so vans and taller SUVs should check the posted clearance sign in meters before pulling in. Keep your entry ticket dry and flat; replacement fees can run higher than a normal day’s parking.
Tip: Take a quick photo of your P3 level and section sign, plus the nearest pillar number, before you head to the shuttle; it saves 10–15 minutes of wandering when you land back at TPE tired at midnight.
