Pay-per-use Priority Pass in T2 gets you into Plaza Premium
This Plaza Premium Lounge sits on the mezzanine level above the T2 duty-free zone, open daily 05:00–23:00 and mainly serving Priority Pass and pay-per-use guests who do not have EVA lounge access. It is the default contract lounge for a mix of foreign carriers using Terminal 2.
After immigration in T2, follow the “VIP Lounges” signs and take the escalator up to the mezzanine, where Plaza Premium and Oriental Club sit a short walk apart in the same duty-free complex. If you have Priority Pass, both lounges accept it, so you can choose based on food, crowding, or shower queues.
Food here tends to trail Oriental Club, according to several FlyerTalk comparisons that call the Oriental spread “much better.” Expect basic hot trays, some snacks and soft drinks, and usually one or two made-to-order items at peak times rather than anything memorable.
Drinks are standard contract-lounge fare: self-serve soda, juice cartons, a coffee machine, and a small selection of beer or simple spirits, all included with Priority Pass entry that typically clocks in at around 3 hours per visit. If you care about wine quality, regulars say to temper expectations.
Showers are the main reason many Priority Pass holders still pick Plaza Premium in T2, matching the setup in the T1 branch with individual shower rooms available at no extra cost once you’re checked in. Ask at the front desk on arrival, as slots can back up quickly during the evening bank of departures after 18:00.
Seating runs along the windows and interior walls, with rows of armchairs and a few counter-height seats facing the terminal. Power outlets are scattered but not at every seat, so if you board a 14-hour long-haul out of T2, plug in as soon as you find a working socket.
Regular Priority Pass users on FlyerTalk often walk the extra minute to Oriental Club first, then fall back to Plaza Premium when Oriental is full or closed for cleaning. Food motivation pushes them there; shower motivation pulls them back here.
Practical tip: If you land in T2 before 06:00 and have a long layover, remember Plaza Premium only opens at 05:00, so plan to hit immigration and duty-free slowly, then head straight upstairs and put your name down for a shower as soon as the doors slide open.
