Bookings run through the Sydney Airport system under “domestic valet,” but the final FastPark price only appears after you punch in entry and exit dates and times. Regulars on Sydney and ausfinance subreddits say they only book FastPark Valet when company policy allows valet claims; otherwise they prebook P2/P3 at a lower rate or just use rideshare. Others advise skipping FastPark on Friday evenings, when domestic arrivals jam the valet lanes and stretch wait times. If you do book it, lock in your times carefully; the valet products draw complaints about stiff change and cancellation fees. Tip: on return, call or check in with the valet desk the moment you step into the terminal to start the retrieval clock before you reach the curb.
