Most SSH package holidays start and end in the Bus Parking Area

The Bus Parking Area at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport mainly handles hotel and tour coaches that feed charter flights in T1 and T2. After landing, reps usually walk groups directly from arrivals to the waiting buses lined up near each terminal. Independent travelers almost never book this area themselves; it functions as a transfer hub for pre-arranged packages tied to specific flight numbers and hotel contracts.

This is coach parking only, not a public car park for private vehicles or taxis. Operators schedule buses to match charter arrivals and departures, often bunching services around peak European holiday flights in the morning and late evening. If your ticket includes a “shared transfer,” it almost always means a seat on one of these coaches parked in this area, not a private car.

Most tour buses here run fixed hotel routes toward Naama Bay, Sharks Bay, Hadaba, or Nabq, with journey times typically running 15–45 minutes depending on resort distance from SSH. The Bus Parking Area acts like a staging zone: drivers wait for reps to check off passenger lists against coach numbers before leaving. If your flight lands late, expect the bus to wait until the last checked bag comes off the belt rather than run multiple trips.

The Bus Parking Area sits outside the terminal-secured zones, so you cannot walk back through T1 or T2 security from here. There are no published short-stay or long-stay tariffs, because spaces are booked by tour companies instead of individuals. If you are arranging your own transport, plan on meeting a pre-booked taxi or private transfer at the public pick-up points, not in the Bus Parking Area.

Practical tip: Before you land at SSH, note your tour company name and hotel; on arrival, follow that logo or name on the rep’s sign to the correct coach in the Bus Parking Area and confirm the bus number matches your resort.
