Gate B area grab-and-go option before boarding
Snack Bar sits airside in Terminal B, close to the B-gate waiting area, and functions as the main quick-stop food counter once you clear security at Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ). It’s the place you see just past passport control when you walk toward the /ull gate side seating. Expect a basic setup: counter service, a few seats, and most people standing with their carry-ons.
Opening hours roughly track flight schedules, so it’s usually open from early morning departures through the last evening flights out of Terminal B. Prices sit above city levels but in normal airport territory: think simple sandwiches, snacks, and drinks rather than full meals. You pay at the counter and they generally take cards plus cash in local currency.
Food-wise, think pre-made sandwiches, packaged snacks, and pastries rather than hot cooked dishes. You’ll typically find bottled water, soft drinks, and basic coffee at the machine. Use it as a final top-up: grab a sandwich and a 0.5L bottle of water if you skipped eating in town before coming to SJJ.
Seating right by Snack Bar is limited and tied to the single B gate area, so during a busy wave of departures the chairs near the /ull gate fill quickly. If every table is taken, you can usually drift a little further down the B pier and eat from your lap in the general gate seating without losing sight of the boarding door.
Don’t count on specialty diets or made-to-order meals here; treat it as backup fuel, not your main plan. If you care about options or price, eat in Sarajevo city first, then use Snack Bar only for a coffee or water top-up. Tip: buy any larger snacks or sweets in town, and use Snack Bar at Terminal B just for drinks and a light bite while you watch the gate.
