Snack Bar Corona

Gate-side beers and snacks in Terminal 2

Just past security in Terminal 2, Snack Bar Corona sits in the main departures area and leans hard into its namesake beer. You’re looking at cold Coronas and basic bar snacks right by the gates, so it’s a straightforward stop to kill 20–30 minutes before boarding. Seating is counter-style and bar-height tables, fine for a quick drink, not a long laptop session.

This is airside in Terminal 2, so you need a boarding pass and have to clear security first; don’t plan it as a meet-up spot for anyone not flying. Prices run higher than downtown Cabo: think roughly airport-bar levels for a bottle of Corona and simple snacks like chips or nachos. Service runs through the main departure bank of flights, so you’ll usually find it open from early morning departures into the late evening, but late-night red-eye windows can be hit or miss.

The move here is simple: grab a Corona or Pacifico, maybe a tequila shot, and something salty before your flight on Aeroméxico, Delta, United, or any of the other Terminal 2 carriers. Food is secondary; expect basic bar bites more than a full sit-down meal. If you actually want a proper plate and cutlery, budget at least 45 minutes and consider one of the larger restaurants in the same terminal instead.

There’s not much in the way of power outlets at Snack Bar Corona, and seating is tight when two or three widebodies are boarding at once from Terminal 2 gates. If you need to charge, plug in at a nearby gate first for 15–20 minutes, then slide over here for a quick beer so you’re not hunting for sockets with a boarding group already lining up.
