Ciao Mart

T1

Near T1 domestic gates at SGN, Ciao Mart covers basics fast.

Ciao Mart in Terminal T1 sits in the domestic zone at Tan Son Nhat, handy if you’ve already cleared security and don’t want to backtrack to the main food court. It’s a grab-and-go convenience shop, not a sit-down spot, so think 3–5 minutes in and out before heading to gates for flights to Hanoi, Da Nang, or Hue.

Pricing runs higher than city minimarts, but normal for an airport: expect bottled water around 15,000–25,000 VND, canned drinks in the 20,000–35,000 VND range, and snack packs just under 50,000 VND. You’ll see instant noodles, packaged pastries, chips, plus basic toiletries like toothbrush kits and small toiletries that can save you if your bag is stuck in T2 baggage claim.

Most counters in T1 accept both cash and card; Ciao Mart usually runs card terminals but they can be temperamental, so keep a 100,000 VND note on you. You won’t find hot food or fresh banh mi here, just packaged items with clear expiry dates printed in day-month-year format. If you’re comparing to the stalls closer to security in T1, Ciao Mart skews more toward packaged travel needs than fresh snacks.

Figure 10 extra minutes in your schedule if you’re walking from the far T1 gates to swing by Ciao Mart and still want to board when Group 1 is called.
