Wrap and Roll

T2

Gate-side Vietnamese wraps in T2 keep things light before long-hauls

In Tan Son Nhat’s international Terminal T2, Wrap and Roll is one of the few spots focused almost entirely on fresh Vietnamese rolls and herbs instead of fried snacks. It sits airside after passport control, so you’re safe on time once you reach the international departures area. Expect a fast-casual setup with counter ordering and food brought to your table within about 10–15 minutes.

The menu leans on classic rolls and light plates: fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork, grilled pork skewers, and rice vermicelli bowls. Prices sit in the mid-range for SGN, with most roll sets and small plates running around 120,000–180,000 VND, noticeably higher than in central Ho Chi Minh City but in line with other T2 restaurants. Portions tend to be enough for a light meal rather than a full feast, so add a second dish if you’re actually hungry.

Fresh goi cuon (shrimp and pork rolls) are the safest call, and the nuoc cham dipping sauce has more flavor than you’ll get at most generic airport cafés. If you want something heavier, a bun thit nuong bowl with grilled pork and herbs lands at roughly 180,000–200,000 VND and still feels lighter than a burger or fried chicken. Drinks lean basic: canned soft drinks, bottled water, and a few juices, usually 30,000–60,000 VND.

Service runs quick at off-peak times, but in the evening T2 bank around the 20:00–23:00 long-haul wave, lines can back up and tables fill. You’re paying a clear airport premium versus District 1, so don’t come here expecting street food prices under 60,000 VND. The upside: you get actual vegetables and herbs right before a 6–10 hour flight.

Practical tip: eat here after you clear passport control in T2 and board with just a coffee or water near your gate; the fresh rolls travel badly if you try to carry them onto a flight longer than 2 hours.
