Burger King

T2

Whopper and fries in T2 before your international flight

Burger King sits airside in Terminal T2 at Tan Son Nhat, so you clear immigration and security first, then spot the familiar logo near several other global chains. It runs through most flight banks, typically opening before 06:00 and staying open into late evening departures, which works for early Korean Air, Vietnam Airlines, or late ANA and JAL flights.

Menu is standard Burger King: Whopper, Double Whopper, chicken burgers, fries, onion rings, plus soft drinks and basic coffee. Expect airport pricing, with combo meals usually landing in the 150,000–220,000 VND range, noticeably higher than downtown Ho Chi Minh City but normal for T2. Portion sizes match what you’d see in other Asian BKs, not the oversized US style.

Food comes out fast, often under 10 minutes even when several widebody departures are stacked within the same hour. That helps if you land from Da Nang into T1, transfer to T2, and only have 45–60 minutes before boarding a regional hop to Singapore or Bangkok. Fries can skew lukewarm during quiet periods, so if that matters, ask for a fresh batch when you order.

Seating is basic plastic tables facing the T2 concourse and some gate areas; during the 20:00–23:00 rush, seats fill up around gates used by Vietnam Airlines long-haul flights. Many people grab a takeaway bag and eat near their gate instead. Expect shared power outlets to be scarce, so don’t count on charging a laptop over your burger.

If you want something predictable before a 5–7 hour sector out of T2, stick with a Whopper or Double Whopper combo and skip experimenting with limited-time specials that rotate every few months. One practical move: order and pay first, then grab a seat close to your actual gate so you can watch boarding while you eat.
