Pho24

T2

Gate-side pho stop in T2 for a fast bowl

In Tan Son Nhat’s international Terminal T2, Pho24 sits airside and targets quick-turn passengers who still want a bowl of pho before boarding. It’s a local Vietnamese chain, so you’ll see the same green signage from downtown Ho Chi Minh City, just with plane views instead of street traffic. Expect counter service, plastic chairs, and food on your tray in under 10 minutes at off-peak times.

A basic beef pho usually runs in the 80,000–120,000 VND range, which is higher than in District 1 but normal for an international terminal like SGN T2. Portions skew medium, not street-stall huge, so one bowl is fine before a 3–4 hour regional flight. You pay at the till, grab a number, and staff bring the bowl to your table.

The menu centers on pho bo and pho ga, with a few rice dishes and fried spring rolls if you want something less soupy before a 6+ hour haul. Broth is decent for an airport, closer to a chain store in town than a serious pho specialist in District 3. Herbs and lime arrive on a small plate; ask specifically for extra basil or chili if you like more punch, as they don’t always load it up automatically.

Because it’s right in T2’s main departures area, seats fill fast in the 2 hours before late-night flights to Korea and Japan. Turnover is high, so waiting more than 15 minutes for a table is rare, but don’t expect a quiet corner at 22:00 when multiple widebodies are boarding from nearby gates. Service pace holds up fairly well even when several flights to Singapore and Bangkok are on the board.

Tip: if your gate is at the far end of T2, check the screens before sitting down so you don’t spend your last 20 minutes power-walking with hot broth in your stomach.
