Multi-storey Car Park T2

Long-stay

Grab pickups for T2 arrivals sit inside this multi-storey

Grab and other ride-hail cars meet passengers inside the Multi-storey Car Park T2, across several traffic lanes from the international arrivals exit at Tan Son Nhat. It functions more as a multi-level circulation hub than a traditional marketed long-stay product, so you see hotel cars, private cars, and app cars all looping through the same ramps.

This is the long-stay option for Terminal T2, built as a multi-level structure beside the international building rather than an open-air lot. It serves flights throughout the day and into late-night bank arrivals, so traffic peaks around the big inbound waves from Korea and Japan. You access it by crossing the arrivals forecourt and following signs toward the multi-storey car park and ride-hail pickup areas.

One FlyerTalk poster reported that a Grab ride from SGN to the Park Hyatt Saigon included a separate 9,000 VND airport parking fee, charged when the car exited this structure. That extra line item is small but can surprise first-timers who only look at the fare shown in the app before pickup.

Travellers on FlyerTalk describe the T2 car park as a "busy spot" with a constant queue of cars on multiple levels, especially around the main international arrivals banks. The combination of engine noise, horns, and drivers calling passengers by phone makes it feel more hectic than waiting curbside, even though the pickup flow is technically more controlled.

Regular Grab users say they walk straight to the signed ride-hail pickup zone inside the multi-storey, then watch their driver approach in the app instead of relying on calls. The usual move is to stand at a specific level and lane marker, then message that exact point in the Grab chat so the driver can pull into the correct row on the first try.

Practical tip: Screenshot your Grab plate number before leaving T2, then head to the multi-storey and match both plate and level sign, so you do not climb into the wrong car in the crowded lanes.
