Gate-side hot meals from 5 a.m. at The Kitchen

By the time T1 opens up for the early flights, Restaurant The Kitchen is already running; doors go up at 5 a.m. and stay open until the last departure out of Rotterdam The Hague Airport. It sits airside in Terminal T1, so this is an option after security, not a landside meet-up spot. Think standard airport café-restaurant: coffee, simple hot dishes, sandwiches, and a drink while you watch the small RTM ramp operations outside.

The Kitchen covers the full flying day, so you can grab a quick breakfast before a 06:30 departure or a beer and something warm before the final evening flight leaves. Prices run in the usual Dutch-airport range, more than city cafés but not shocking for an airside spot in T1. Expect counter ordering, then either self-service pickup or a short wait for basic hot plates rather than anything elaborate.

Layout is open to the T1 departures hall, so you can keep an eye on the main screens and walk to most gates in under 5 minutes. Seating runs along the windows and into the central area, making it a workable place to park with a laptop if you have a one- to two-hour layover at Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Closing tip: if your boarding pass shows an early-morning departure, plan breakfast here instead of hunting for food at the gate itself.
