T1’s only proper grab-and-go grocery stop: Airport Mini Market
Right in Rotterdam The Hague Airport’s Terminal T1, Airport Mini Market sits landside before security and works as the basic supply run: drinks, snacks, sweets, and a few travel essentials in one small footprint. Prices run higher than in town, but still below what you see at many larger hubs in AMS or CDG.
Opening hours usually track the first and last departures, so it’s typically open from early morning into the evening whenever flights are running from RTM. That means you can pick up water and snacks for that early Transavia hop or a late business flight without depending on the café queues.
Shelves lean on recognizable European brands: bottled water, soft drinks, canned energy drinks, crisps, chocolate bars, and basic sandwiches for short-haul flights under two hours. You’ll also find small toiletry items like toothpaste, deodorant, and travel-sized shower gel, useful if your bag sits at home in Rotterdam while you stand in T1.
Stock is limited compared to a city supermarket, so don’t plan a full weekly shop here, but it works fine if you just need a 0.5L water, a sandwich, and some mints before boarding. Card payments are standard, and contactless tap works quickly, which helps when security queues in RTM push close to your boarding time.
Tip: buy your drinks here after check-in but before security, because airside options in T1 thin out fast once you move toward the gates.
