Gate-side cash fix at T1 before you clear out

Prices run higher than in the city, as expected at an airport, but you’re paying for timing and location more than value. Cards generally work for purchases, though you’re standing there mainly to walk away with cash.

Call it a backup plan, not your main budget tool. Sort most of your trip money through your bank ahead of time, then use GWK Travelex in T1 only if you land on an awkward connection or forgot local cash. One tip: check your bank’s ATM fees before travel; if they’re low, skip the counter and use an ATM in town instead.
