Opens 5:30am on weekdays for the first T1 departures
Trib's sits airside in Terminal 1 at Rennes-Saint-Jacques and runs Monday to Friday from 5:30am to 6:30pm, plus 6:00am to 6:30pm on weekends. It’s the main food stop after security, so this is where you grab coffee and a bite before regional flights on Air France Hop and others. Seating is limited, so at 7:00–8:00am it can feel tight when multiple departures stack.
The offer skews classic French snack bar: pastries, sandwiches, salads and bottled drinks. Expect basic espresso drinks, croissants and pain au chocolat at typical airport pricing, roughly a euro or two above town cafés. For something more filling, cold baguette sandwiches and grab-and-go salads work for a short hop to Paris or Lyon. Hot food options can rotate, so don’t bank on a specific dish being available late in the day.
Crowds thin after the morning bank of flights, roughly after 9:30am, and mid-afternoon is usually calmer again until around 5:00pm. If you land hungry on a late arrival, note that 6:30pm is a hard close, so you’ll want to buy before then. Payment is straightforward with cards widely accepted, and staff are used to quick turnarounds when boarding calls hit the screens.
Tip: if you care about pastry choice, stop at Trib's before 8:00am; the best items tend to sell out well before the 6:30pm closing time.
