All-purpose shop by T1 departures security
Right past security in Terminal T1, Trib's Boutique is the airport’s catch-all stop: sandwiches, salads, snacks, soft drinks, coffee, plus magazines and newspapers in one compact space. It sits airside near the gates, so you can grab something after clearing checks without backtracking.
Hours run Monday to Friday from 05:30 to 18:30, and Saturday–Sunday from 06:00 to 18:30, which makes it one of the earliest-opening options at Rennes-Saint-Jacques. If you have a 07:00 departure and skipped breakfast in town, this is realistically your only food and press stop.
Food is classic French airport cold fare: basic baguette sandwiches, packaged salads, crisps, chocolate bars, and pastries in the €3–€8 band, plus bottled water and soft drinks usually around €2–€3. Coffee comes from a counter machine rather than a barista setup, so it’s fine for a quick caffeine fix, not a sit-down café moment.
On the newsstand side, expect French newspapers, a few international titles, and travel-sized books and puzzles alongside the usual duty-trip essentials like chewing gum and mints. Prices track typical small-airport levels, a bit higher than in town but acceptable given the single-shop setup airside at RNS.
Practical tip: queues build before the early bank of departures around 06:30–07:30, so if you want coffee and a sandwich from Trib's Boutique, walk straight there once you enter T1 airside and sort it before you sit down at your gate.
