T2’s cheapest hot meal is usually Lotteria
Right after security in Terminal T2, Lotteria sits on the departures side and functions as the default fast-food stop when you want something quick and under about US$5–7. It’s a Korean-origin chain, but here it feels more like a local fast-food stand bolted onto the gate area than a full restaurant.
Menu is classic Lotteria: chicken burgers, shrimp burgers, rice-based plates, fries, and soft drinks, with combo meals typically cheaper than many sit-down spots elsewhere in Yangon International Airport. Expect your order in under 10 minutes during normal flow; in the T2 evening bank of flights, it can stretch closer to 15 when multiple departures are stacked between 19:00 and 21:00.
T2 is used by several regional carriers, so you’ll see a mix of passengers grabbing takeaway before 2–3 hour hops. Lotteria’s burgers lean small by US standards but match other Myanmar fast-food portions, and the fried chicken tends to be the safest bet if you’re catching a late flight and don’t want anything too experimental right before a 23:00 departure.
Drinks are standard: fountain sodas, bottled water, and sometimes simple coffee or tea, which runs cheaper than what you’ll find at branded cafés in T1 or T3. Expect basic counter service only; you order at the till, pay in cash or card depending on what’s working that day, then wait for your number to be called.
One practical move: if your gate is at the far end of T2, stop at Lotteria first thing after security, grab food to go, then walk to your gate so you’re not stuck choosing between boarding early and hovering over a table next to the counter.
