Bar Boon

T1

Gate-side coffee stop in T1 with simple snacks

Bar Boon sits airside in Terminal T1 at Yangon International Airport, handy if your flight departs from the older international pier. It runs through typical daytime hours that track flight schedules rather than strict café times, so you can usually get a drink in the early morning and into the evening while long-haul departures cycle out.

Expect a tight menu: espresso drinks, soft drinks, bottled water, and a short list of pastries or light snacks. Prices land above downtown Yangon cafés but in line with other RGN airport spots, so plan on paying the usual airport premium for a latte or cappuccino. It works more as a quick fuel stop than a sit-down meal option.

Seating sits right off the T1 concourse, so you stay within quick sight of nearby gates while you drink your coffee. That helps on shorter connections inside T1, where you may only have 45–60 minutes between regional flights. Power outlets can be hit-or-miss in this part of the terminal, so don’t count on charging a laptop during your stop.

If you need something more substantial than a sandwich or pastry, you’ll likely end up elsewhere in Yangon Airport, since Bar Boon leans toward light bites rather than hot mains. Think of it as a backup option when you just want caffeine before a late-night departure or a cold drink after clearing immigration in T1.

Practical tip: check your gate on the screens first, then use Bar Boon as your last stop only if your boarding pass lists a T1 gate within a 5–10 minute walk; RGN’s terminals are separate, and you don’t want to backtrack between T1, T2, and T3 with a drink in hand.
