T2 $$$$ Post-security

Gate-side sugar fix in T2 for a few US dollars

This Krispy Kreme sits airside in Terminal 2, after security, and it’s one of the cheapest snack options in the building. Expect prices in the low dollar range per doughnut, with boxes running under what you’d pay in most city shops. It’s classed as a local bakery outlet, but the menu sticks to the familiar US-style rings and filled doughnuts plus coffee.

You’ll find it in the T2 departures area, so you’re already through immigration and security before you spot the green sign. That makes it a solid stop if you’ve only got 15–20 minutes before boarding and want something you can carry to the gate. Seating is limited and more counter-style than café, so plan on grabbing a box and moving on.

The line moves fast because the menu is tight: classic glazed, chocolate iced, a rotating few seasonal flavors, and simple filter coffee or espresso drinks. Single doughnuts usually price in the $1–$2 range, with coffee not much higher. It’s an easy way to feed a couple of people for under $10 before a regional hop out of Yangon.

Quality is roughly what you’d expect from a chain: fresh when a new batch hits the tray, noticeably less appealing after sitting an hour under the case lights. If you care, ask which flavors just came out before you order a half-dozen. The classic original glazed here tends to be the safest bet versus the heavier filled options.

Tip: if your flight leaves from a remote T2 bus gate, buy your doughnuts and drinks first; there’s nothing comparable once you’re herded downstairs to the busses and boarding can start 25–30 minutes before departure.
