Free vendor-lot motorcycle parking at RDM if you email first

Daily rate here is $0.00, but Motorcycle Parking at Roberts Field (RDM) only works if you arrange it in advance. The airport offers complimentary motorcycle parking in the vendor parking lot near the southwest terminal entrance, not in the regular public stalls. Think of it as a back-of-house option that trades visibility for price.

To get a spot, you have to email the address listed on RDM’s parking page with four details: name, phone number, motorcycle license plate, and the exact dates your bike will be parked. This is the key step; without that prior notification, you’re just another vehicle trying to use a vendor lot that’s normally for business pick-up, delivery, and drop-off.

The setup is technically an accessible parking option, but it functions more like a pre-cleared permission slip. Once approved, you ride straight to the vendor lot by the southwest terminal entrance and park in the area indicated by airport staff, instead of mixing with cars in the main paid lot. You still walk the short distance into the terminal from that side of the building.

Regulars say the move is to email the airport several days before departure so your information is on file and there’s no back-and-forth the night before an early flight. With a confirmed arrangement, you can roll in, park, lock up, and be at check-in within a few minutes.

Tip: in your email, include your flight times and airline along with the required info; it helps staff match your bike to your travel window and makes it easier if they need to confirm anything while you’re away.
