Gate-side perfume stop near T1 departures security

Swiss Arabian sits airside in Marrakesh Menara’s T1 departures zone, a few minutes’ walk from most international gates. It’s a small stand-alone perfume shop focused entirely on fragrance, with shelves stacked in tight rows so you can browse quickly between passport control and boarding. Signage is clear in both French and English, so you’ll spot it even in a busy late-evening departure bank.

Opening hours generally mirror T1 flight banks, roughly 06:00 until the last departures clear, which at RAK often means around 23:00. Pricing is duty free, and you’ll see both 50 ml and 100 ml bottles on display, plus a few oil-based attars in smaller vials. Expect mid-market prices, not rock-bottom deals, but still lower than many city-centre boutiques in Western Europe.

The shop carries core Swiss Arabian lines: classic oud blends, sweeter gourmands, and lighter fresh scents that work in 30°C Marrakesh heat. Testers sit right on the front counter, so you can try a quick spray of a 100 ml EDP without waiting for staff. If you’re scent-sensitive, step back a meter or two from the main tester bar; several bottles can be sprayed in the same minute when a tour group walks through.

Staff usually switch between Arabic, French, and enough English to talk notes and prices, and card payments run on the same terminals used elsewhere in T1. If you’re tight on time before an easyJet or Ryanair boarding from T1, set a 10-minute buffer and head here first, because queues can form at passport control after gate changes.
