Marrakesh Menara Airport, Marrakesh, Morocco

By T1 security, this is one of the main gift stops

Kounouz El Yasmine sits airside in Marrakesh Menara’s T1/T3 complex, positioned as a standard Moroccan gift and snack shop rather than a duty-free giant. Expect shelves of small souvenirs, snacks for the flight, and a mix of local and generic travel items. Prices run higher than downtown Marrakesh, as usual for the airport, but still workable if you just need a last-minute present before boarding.

You’ll see the usual airport basics here: bottled water, soft drinks, packaged sweets, and some grab-and-go items you can take to the gate. Figure on paying around 20–30 MAD for drinks and more for branded chocolates or tins. It’s all self-service, with quick counter payment, so you’re in and out in under 5–10 minutes unless a full flight hits at once.

Souvenir stock tends to cover magnets, keychains, small items with “Marrakech” branding, and occasionally gift boxes of dates or Moroccan-style treats. If you want serious argan oil or spices, you still do better in the city souks; treat this as a backup, not your main shopping run. Being in the main departures area, it’s easy to reach from most T1 and T3 gates without adding more than a three-minute detour.

Practical play: buy water and snacks here before you sit at the gate, since not every nearby stand has the same stock or prices. Keep small notes or a card ready; it speeds things up when a 180-seat flight lines up behind you.
