The Green Bar

Gate A-side is where you’ll find The Green Bar

In Terminal A at PVR, The Green Bar fills a gap between full pubs and grab-and-go kiosks. It leans café-style: lighter sandwiches, salads, and coffee drinks instead of just wings and burgers. You’re still airside in the main departures hall, so it works for all A and B gates after security. Expect typical Mexican airport pricing, with sandwiches and salads landing in the mid-range compared to the tequila bars next door.

The menu skews light by airport standards: think simple salads, panini-style sandwiches, and fruit plates instead of deep-fried everything. Drinks run from espresso and cappuccinos to soft drinks, beer, and basic cocktails. It’s not a specialty coffee lab, but espresso-based drinks and bottled water usually come in a bit cheaper than mixed drinks at the big sports bars in Terminal A. Portions trend modest, so plan on one main per person if this is your only meal before boarding.

Seating sits directly in the departures concourse near the A gates, so you’re eating within sight of the big FIDS boards. That makes it easy to keep one eye on a boarding call for an A or B gate flight. Power outlets are limited at these tables compared to the newer gate seating, so charge your devices at the gate first, then move here for food and a drink. Service pace varies with departure banks but usually runs 15–25 minutes from order to plate during mid-day.

The Green Bar works best for a light pre-flight bite or a coffee instead of a full bar session. If you’re hungry after a long inbound from the US or Canada, you might still want a heavier sit-down spot elsewhere in Terminal A. Use this for a salad, sandwich, or espresso while you wait on boarding. One practical move: check your gate, sit at the side closest to your specific A or B gate, and you can be at the podium in under 3–4 minutes.
